Český Krumlov. Len za nejaké tri – štyri hodiny cesty sa ocitnete v skutočnej rozprávke. Nikdy nezabudnem na prvé stretnutie s týmto mestom. Bola som bez slov. Teda nie, neustále som opakovala jednu vetu: „Musím sa sem ešte vrátiť.“ A tak sa Český Krumlov stal pre mňa miestom, kam sa minimálne raz ročne vraciam, kde je mi dobre na duši, a kde si neuveriteľne resetnem hlavu. A tiež sa tu dobre najem vynikajúcej českej kuchyne. Nuž, raj na zemi a nebo v ústach.
Český Krumlov je od roku 1992 zapísaný na zozname UNESCO a preteká ním rieka Vltava, ktorá len dotvára prekrásny obraz mesta. Keď sa na mesto pozriete z terás Zámku, na červené strechy farebných domov a na striebornú niť Vltavy, dokážete dlhý čas pozerať mlčky na priam pitoresknú krásu tohto mesta.
Mesto je nielen krásne, ale má aj bohatú históriu. Zámok je po Pražskom hrade druhým najrozsiahlejším zámockým komplexom v Česku. Most “na plášti” je unikátny a mohli by sme povedať, že nám pripomína most vo Florencii. Privedie Vás do zámockej záhrady. V záhrade môžete obdivovať Kaskádovú fontánu a barokový letohrádok Belária. Jedinečné je však známe barokové divadlo v záhrade s otáčavým hľadiskom.
Mesto je vlastne úžasný systém ulíc a uličiek s pravidelným námestím, ktorému dominuje Morový stĺp, a ktoré sa nezmenilo od doby založenia. Uličky lemujú krásne zachované mestské domy v gotickom, renesančnom či barokovom štýle. Takmer vo všetkých je možnosť ubytovania a mnohé sú aj dobovo zariadené, takže naozaj máte pocit, že ste sa ocitli v časoch týchto období.
Mesto môžeme rozdeliť na vnútorné mesto a mesto za riekou, severne od vnútorného mesta, ktoré sa nazýva Latrán. Obidve časti sú spojené dreveným Lazebnickým mostom. Je to miesto, odkiaľ je krásny pohľad na Zámok, farebnú Zámockú vežu (výstup na ktorú si určite nenechajte ujsť) a na Vltavu. V každom kúte a zákutí mesta objavíte úžasný dom. Môžete sa túlať, objavovať neuveriteľné pohľady na mesto. Prechádzka popri Vltave či jej splavenie je romantickým zážitkom. A ak sa Vám podarí nájsť si ubytovanie pri jej brehu, ráno je krásnym prebudením.
Český Krumlov je naozaj miestom, kde si môžete neskutočne oddýchnuť, stretnúť sa s priateľmi pri dobrom českom pive (veď České Budějovice sú len na skok a sú taktiež veľmi zaujímavé a v Krumlove je tiež pivovar Eggenberg) či vynikajúcej českej kuchyni. Toto mesto si zachovalo svoje čaro, pohostinnosť a unikátnosť. Víkendový pobyt Vás rozhodne nesklame. A ceny nie sú tak prehnane vysoké ako napríklad v Prahe.
V júni sa tu konajú Slavnosti pětilisté rúže (18.6.2010 – 20.6.2010), kedy stretneme po meste chodiacich „šľachticov a šľachtičné“ a celý víkend mesto žije touto slávnosťou a je pripravených veľa kultúrnych a iných akcií, ktoré sú zakončené ohňostrojom. Z Lazebnického mostu je divadlo zvané ohňostroj naozajstným zážitkom. Tu som aj privítala Nový rok 2010.
Tak ak chcete dopriať Vašim zmyslom oddych a trošku ich rozmaznať, určite navštívte Český Krumlov. Je to miesto, kde sa dobre je, pije, spí a nádherne oddychuje. Kde máte pocit, že ste naozaj v inom svete.
