Aj keď je názov hotela poňatý skor metaforicky, určite sa v ňom a v jeho okolí budete cítiť rozprávkovo. Hotel s 
názvom Magic Mountain Hotel sa totiž nachádza v nádhernej prírodnej rezervácii Hulio Hulio a jeho majitelia ho pomenovali podľa svojej obľúbenej knihy. Vďaka magicky krásnemu prostrediu a vodopádu padajúcemu z vrcholu strechy si pomyslíte, že hotel je čarovný…
“Čarovný hotel” nájdete 60 km od najbližšieho mesta s názvom Panguipulli. Najbližšie letisko sa nachádza zhruba 165 km od strediska v meste Valdivia. Na presun budete potrebovať cca 2,5 hod. autom. Aj keď sa hotel nachádza mimo civilizácie, jeho prostredie s nádherným výhľadom na miestne zvieracie osadenstvo Vás za námahu dostať sa tam štedro odmení. Oblasť je známa rybolovom a lovom a v zime si na vulkáne prídu na svoje milovníci lyžiarskej turistiky. Park tiež ponúka jazdenie na koňoch, cykloturistiku alebo kajakové výlety na jazere Pirihueico.
Keďže hotel je tak trošku “od ruky”, má samostatne fungujúcu reštauráciu s vychýrenou povesťou: Meson del Bosque, kde máte možnosť ochutnať naozaj vynikajúcu čílsku kuchyňu. Ak je chladnejšie, vyskúšajte Pastel de Papas – zmes zemiakovej kaše, cibule, olív, vajíčka a mäsa zapečeného v rúre. Pre majiteľov mlsného jazýčka: existuje aj sladká verzia pokrmu, ale majte sa na pozore: väčšia porcia tejto dobroty Vás pripraví o možnosť sa pohybovať 
a jediné, po čom budete túžiť, bude Vaša postieľka a sladko si na nej pospinkať. Ľahšou variantou je jedlo s názvom Cazuela, ide o polievku z kuraťa alebo iného mäsa so zemiakmi. Počas večera je Vám k dispozícii bar, kde si môžete vychutnať kyslejši a osviežujúci kokteil Pisco vyrobený z hroznového likéru zmiešaného s citrónovým džúsom a cukrom. Pozor na opicu ! Pisco sa veľmi ľahko pije…
Každá z 13 izieb má samostatnú kúpeľňu. Nájdete tu aj 11 chatiek pre 4 až 6 ľudí. Izby sú pomenované podľa rastlín a zvierat v parku. V izbách nájdete drevené steny a nábytok. Samozrejmosťou je internetové pripojenie. Nájdete tu kúpele a saunu, taktiež si môžete zahrať minigolf.
Čo sa týka počasia, je všobecne slnečné s miernymi teplotami, ale leto (december-február) môže byť veľmi teplé. Obdobie dažďov začína v apríli a končí v októbri. Lyžiari majú najlepšie podmienky v júli a auguste.
