Pri mojich potulkách po nete som narazila na tento zázrak a zábery mi vyrazili dych. Kláštor Tatev na juhu Arménska. 
Dnešným dňom je mojím ďalším snom práve Arménsko. Už to zrelo dávno (nehovoriac o tom, že môj milovaný William Saroyan bol Armén…), no dnes som sa rozhodla, že po Mongolsku musím zavítať do Arménska.
Kláštor bol postavený v 9. storočí a mal veľmi strategickú polohu: hrdí sa nad hlbokým údolím rieky Vorotan. Nielen vďaka polohe naberal čoraz väčší význam a v 13. storočí vlastnil až 680 dedín.
Väčšina kláštorov v Arménsku je neobývaných. V súčasnosti kláštor obývajú mnísi, ktorí tam prišli po 80 rokoch. Pocestných veľmi ochotne ubytujú a možno vás povodia po tajných chodbách a miestnostiach komplexu, ktorých je tam neúrekom. Niet sa čo čudovať – kláštor patrí medzi najväčšie v krajine.
Kláštor sa nachádza v náručí neskutočnej prírodnej scenérie, príroda navôkol vám vyrazí dych. Neďaleko kláštora sa nachádzajú nádherné vodopády.
Stavebníci a remeselníci si dali naozaj záležať. Jednoduchá a pokorná krása stavby je doplnená jemnými dekoráciami. Lakonickosť stavby harmonicky ladí s prostredím a dodáva jej ten dychvyrážajúci vzhľad a monumentálnosť.
Ako chuťovku vopred si skúste stiahnuť 3D model tohto “môjho” divu a vychutnajte si aj foto k článku. Pre mňa osobne neskutočná pecka.
