Tento architektonický div nájdete v Barme, v regióne Mon. Pagoda Kyaiktiyo, známa tiež ako Golden Rock, je 
známe budhistické miesto. Dokonca je tretím najdôležitejším budhistickým pútnickým miestom po pagodách Shwedagon a Mahamuni.
Dalo by sa povedať, že ide skor o pagodku, keďže má len 5,5 metra. Čo ju robí výnimočnou je fakt, že spočíva na vrchu žulového balvana, ktorý je až do výšky dvoch metrov pokrytý pravým zlatom. Lístkami zlata ju pokryli oddaní prívrženci Budhu. Samotná skala vyzerá, akoby neustále zvádzala boj s gravitáciou, keďže pri pohľade na ňu máte pocit, že sa už-už zrúti dole kopcom… Podľa starej legendy sa v pagode ukrýva časť vlasov Budhu, ktorá chráni skalu pred zrútením sa.
Všetci návštevníci Golden Rock sa zhodli, že ponúka úchvatný výhľad a mnohí z nich zostávajú dlhšie, aby si mohli vychutnať západ slnka.
